Recent expansion allows parishioners of all Episcopal churches throughout four Florida dioceses to join Episcopal Credit Union

Florida Episcopal Federal Credit Union (FEFCU) has recently announced that parishioners of all Episcopal churches throughout four Florida dioceses are now eligible for membership in this unique faith-based credit union. NCUA, the U.S. government agency that regulates federal credit unions, recently approved this expansion because of the common bond shared by Episcopalians across the state.

Deeply rooted in the traditions of the Episcopal Church, FEFCU was founded in 1966 under the direction of The Rt. Rev. Henry I. Louttit to help meet the needs of the clergy in South Florida. “Our credit union holds the distinction of being a faith-based financial institution. The staff, management and board of directors are devoted individuals who prayerfully make decisions in the best interest of the general membership,” says Lynn Hough, president of FEFCU.

Florida Episcopal Federal Credit Union serves the Dioceses of Central Florida, Southwest Florida, Southeast Florida and Florida. Membership is open to parishioners of all churches, employees of the dioceses, churches, schools, retirement centers and retreat and conference centers. The churches and affiliated organizations can also have an account with the credit union. For more information, call (407) 423-3189 or (800) 548-9301 or email general@fedfcu.org.
